Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject promoter excellent in the effect of promoting the activity of a keratinizing enzyme, and to obtain a cosmetic containing this promoter, such as a hair cosmetic excellent in hair quality-improving and depilation-remedying effects or a skin cosmetic excellent in remedying effects for skin quality such as skin chapping.

CONSTITUTION: This keratinizing enzyme activity promoter consists of ethynyl estradiol and/or a derivative therefrom. The other objective cosmetic contains pref. 0.00001-1wt.% of this promoter.
