Abstract:
The billiard cue has a rod of a homogeneous solid material made of glass fibre reinforced unsaturated duroplastic with a glass content of 54 to 70 per cent by weight, in particular 56 to 68 per cent by weight. The method for producing a billiard cue of this type comprises shaping an initially cylindrical rod material by extrusion, then curing this rod material and finally grinding it into the customary conical shape.
