Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the rotation of forming parts when a different kind of a key plate is inserted into a rotor by forming a device so that an intermediate rotor is rotated so as to push a second cam in the direction for separating from the intermediate rotor and release the engagement with the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: When a different kind of key plate is inserted into a rotor 15, a tumbler 16 is not aligned with the rotor 15, and engaged with an engagement groove 12 of an intermediate rotor. At this stage, when the key plate is turned, the intermediate rotor 11 is rotated together, and a first cam 18 is moved in the direction for separating from the intermediate rotor 11, and the engagement of an engagement groove 21a of a second cam 21 with an engagement projection 15c of the rotor 15 is released, and the rotation of the key plate is not transmitted to a second and a third cams 21, 22, and the rotor 15 and the intermediate rotor 11 are idly rotated, and a lever 23 is not rotated and locking/unlocking of a lock device is not performed. With this structure, in the case where a different kind of key plate is used, lock is not easily released, and the key device is not broken at the time of insertion of the different kind of key plate.
