Abstract:
To provide a key switch, capable of being simply constituted, and also facilitating authentication actions.
The key switch is constituted of a column-like key 6 equipped with a unique information pattern 7 constructed by arraying, in an arbitrary number, identical or differently shaped elements with an interval in-between, and of a switch body 1 having an optical sensor 9 therein, while the column-like key 6 is operated against an insertion hole 3 formed in the switch body 1, with the optical sensor 9 detecting the information pattern 7 for performing the authentication actions.
