To provide a keyboard device capable of effectively illuminating a display part installed in a key top.
In a keyboard device includes an illumination mechanism 30, including a light guiding member 32, placed between a touch point input part 24 of a membrane switch 20 and a key top 4, for propagating therein and guiding to each key top 4 light from a light source 31, the light guide member 32 includes a light guide member body 34, wherein a switch opening 32a opened within a surface so as to correspond to a placement position of each key top 4; a light-propagating part 32b extending within the surface so as to have a matrix shape in the length direction and the width direction and to propagate light therein, and a reflection illuminating part 32c, extending from the light-propagating part 32b to inside each switch opening 32a to be interposed in a space between the key top 4 and the membrane switch 20 are formed; a light-shielding member, placed on the upper surface of the light guide member body 34 for interrupting the light emitted upward from the light-propagating part 32b; and a reflection member for reflecting toward each key top 4 light leaking downward from the light guide member body 34.
