PURPOSE: To instantly and easily confirm input contents, to improve working efficiency and to reduce fatigue by providing a display part which is capable of displaying input information in vicinity of a depression key so as to be almost the same surface level as that of the key and performing the scroll display of input information.

CONSTITUTION: When the depression key 2 of a keyboard 1 is depressed, a judgment circuit 3 judges input information, a conversion circuit 4 converts the output signal into a signal for display and transmits it to a control circuit 5. The control circuit 5 controls the display operation of a display part 6. As the display part is arranged on the almost same surface level as that of the key 2, the depression contents of this key 2 can be easily confirmed. The display capacity of the display part 6 is the one where a short sentence with KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI(Chinese character) of 10 to 15 characters per line can be displayed, for instance. When the number of character to be inputted in the key 2 exceeds the number of characters to be displayed at this display part 6, this display part 6 performs a scroll display that the character inputted at first is deleted and the latest inputted character is displayed at the end. Thus, working efficiency is improved.
