Abstract:
To provide a key holder cap for eliminating an error that frequently occurs in recognizing an insertion direction of a key when inserting the key into a keyhole.SOLUTION: Research was conducted on a method for recognizing a front/back of the key by a fingertip without visually observing a front/back direction of the key when taking the key out from a pocket or a bag. Instead of attaching a protrusion or a marker on a top surface of a grip part of the key (an insertion direction of the key being the front), slightly bending the grip part from a center in a 90 degree direction to form a trough shape allowed the front/back of the key to be recognized by the fingertip. Furthermore, a good fitting feeling is achieved when the key is gripped by a thumb and an index finger, thus providing a key grip cap of the best shape. In a design of the grip part of the key, which is a development element, the protrusion or a deformation in the grip is considered a design element that allows the recognition of the front/back of the key. Also provided is a shape-designed form having the development elements of the present invention from a manufacturing stage of a key main body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
