Title:
KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001295523
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To solve the problems that a conventional keyless entry system for a motor vehicle can not practically prevent a battery from going dead, etc., due to the continuos output of call electric waves at all times at a parking lot, etc., as the conventional keyless entry system determines the presence or absence of an object within a monitoring region to start the transmutation of the call electric waves to a portable unit.
The movement of an object within the monitoring region is determined on the basis of reflected waves received by an ultrasonic sensor 12 to start the transmission of the call electric waves to the portable unit 9.
