Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method of spinning and winding an elastic yarn and a spinning and winding machine having a simple structure, which can surely shift the elastic yarn.
CONSTITUTION: An elastic yarn spinning and winding machine in which an elastic yarn Y is wound on an empty bobbin B located at a wind-up position (a) between a pair of bobbin holders 15, 16, and after it is fully wound thereon, the elastic yarn Y is shifted onto an empty bobbin B located at a stand-by position (b) by inverting the bobbin holders 15, 16, comprises means 40 for stopping the empty bobbin B at an intermediate position away from the winding position (a), and yarn shifting means 30, 40 for winding the elastic yarn from the outlet side of the empty bobbin onto the bobbin B and for making the same contact with the elastic yarn from the inlet side thereof.
