To provide a highly excellent kinetic function aiding device and method by which a user can easily exercise by himself and by his own will without a help of others.
This kinetic function aiding device 20 is equipped with a driving means 21 which generates an aiding force which complements the muscle force of a user 11, and a control means 33 which controls the driving means. The kinetic function aiding device 20 is also equipped with a measuring means 31 which measures electric potential variations by the eyeball movements in the vertical and lateral directions obtained by an electro-oculogram regarding the user, and an analysis means 32 which extracts will information of the user based on the electric potential variations in the vertical direction and the lateral direction. The kinetic function aiding device 10 is constituted in such a manner that the kinetic function of the user may be aided by driving and controlling the driving means 21 by the control means 33 based on the will information extracted by the analysis means 32.
