PURPOSE: To prevent generation of kinky yarn by covering a supply yarn package at least at its periphery with a cylindrical netting having contractive property in its diametric direction.

CONSTITUTION: A yarn 3 is drawn out of a supply yarn package 1U covered with a net 2, and because it takes place in such a condition as pinched by the net 2 and the yarn layer surface of supply yarn package 1U with the contraction force of the net 2, always an untwining tension is applied to the yarn 3, and the tension will never become zero nor near it. The yarn 4 drawn out of the lower stage package 1D contacts the periphery of the upper stage package 1U, wherein drawing-out takes place upward while contacting the shoulder strongly, but because the upper stage supply yarn package 1U is covered with the net 2, the yarn 4 does not influence at all. When drawout of yarns 3, 4 from the supply yarn package 1 results in smaller diameter of the package, the net 2 shrinks by its own contraction force to generate close contact at all times with the surface of the supply yarn package 1.
