PURPOSE: To save the space by the arrangement such that a waist-high sink tank is provided in a cylindrical column member and an opening for work is provided on said member so as to be positioned on the upper surface level of said tank, a heater and an exhaust device being provided in the upper part of said member, the heater being made vertically movable above the sink tank.
CONSTITUTION: In a body 1 of a kitchen apparatus, a waist-high sink tank 2 is provided and an opening A is formed on the front side of the body above the tank to perform cooking work, a heater 3 being disposed above the opening. The heater 3 is incorporated in a cylindrical box 12, in which a drive motor 9 for forward and reverse running is provided. A motor pulley 13 is attached to said motor and two wire ropes 14 are fixed to an end of the pulley 13 so as to be wound or rewound. The box 12 is moved vertically in the body 1 through guide rollers 18 and guide rails 6. On the guide rails 6, microswitches 7a, 7b which are actuated when the box 12 comes to upper or lower position are provided. Cooking work is performed on the surface of the sink tank 2 and heat cooking work is carried out using the heater 3.
