Title:
SUBMERGED WELDING METHOD FOR HIGH MN NONMAGNETIC STEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3152473
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and efficiently obtain sound weld metal by joint welding of the high Mn nonmagnetic steel used as intense magnetic field structural material.
CONSTITUTION: The efficient submerged welding having fine welding workability and capable of easily obtaining the sound weld metal can be realized by performing welding by combining a wire where the quantity of O is restricted and the quantities of C, Si, Mn, Cr and N are specified with bond flux where PbO is contained and the quantities of CaF2, CoO, MgO, SiO2 and Al2O3, are specified. Consequently, reliability and welding efficiency of a welded joint part can be drastically improved by performing welding of the high Mn nonmagnetic steel used as various intense magnetic field structural materials by this method.
