PURPOSE: To improve kitchen operations by providing a counter including a sink with a second sink shallower than the sink, and providing faucets from which water can be fed into both sinks.

CONSTITUTION: A cooktop 9b is provided on the left part of a counter 6 integrally formed out of stainless plates. A first sink 12 having a depth of about 200 mm suited for washing dishes and foods is provided in the right part of the counter 6. A second sink 13 having a shallow depth of about 50 mm is provided between the cooktop 9b and the sink 12. Faucets 19, 21 from which water can be fed respectively into the sinks 12, 13 are provided.
