The kitchen garbage disposer 1 is one which dries kitchen garbage by heating it in a drying chamber 19 and is provided with a drying chamber heater 24 for heating the air in the chamber 19, a cross-flow fan 23 for recirculating the air in the chamber 19, a catalyst having a deodorizing function, and a deodorizing apparatus 26 having a deodorization heater that heats the catalyst and used for deodorizing the air discharged from the drying chamber, and in which the deodorizing apparatus 26 is disposed in the route of the air recirculated within the chamber 19.
