Abstract:
To provide a garbage treatment apparatus capable of inexpensively deodorizing garbage without requiring an exclusive heater in the heating of a deodorizing catalyst.
This garbage treatment apparatus is equipped with a container accommodating garbage, a heating means (magnetron 27) for irradiating garbage in the container 1 with electromagnetic waves such as microwaves or the like to heat the same and a deodorizing means 52 for deodorizing the malodorous component produced from the garbage in the container 1 using the heated catalyst 51. The heating means (magnetron) is used together as the heating source of the catalyst 51 of the deodorizing means 52.
