To provide a highly safe kitchen knife holder conveniently storing kitchen knives, and preventing the moving of the kitchen knives by a sliding operation of a drawer where the kitchen knife holder is stored.
This kitchen knife holder 320 includes grooves 322A-322D for storing blades of kitchen knives directed downward, a locking arm 326 rotating about a locking arm shaft 334 as a rotary shaft and having a fitting part 326D, a locking arm spring 338 applying an energizing force against the rotation of the locking arm 326 to the locking arm 326, and a release lever 328 rotated by a release lever shaft 336 and having a corresponding fitting part 328D fitted with the fitting part 326D, when the locking arm 326 is rotated to a predetermined position. An external force is removed after the fitting so as to retain the fitting by the energizing force and a regulation member 332 pushes the blunt edges of the kitchen knives 330 stored in the grooves 322A-322D.
