Abstract:
To provide a kitchen towel roll having excellent water absorption, that is not bulky, has no ply peeling and has low replacement frequency, even if a basis weight is not excessively increased but is within a prescribed region.SOLUTION: The kitchen towel roll is made by adhering a sheet imparted with a dotted embossment pattern using a glue, and taking up a kitchen towel sheet laminated in a 2-ply manner into a rolled state. The kitchen towel sheet has an irregular pattern derived from a paper-making process that is different from the embossment pattern. A basis weight of the 2-ply sheet is 32 g/m2 or more and 65 g/m2 or less, a paper thickness is 1.6 mm/10 sheets or more and 4.7 mm/10 sheets or less, a specific volume is 7 cm3/g or more and 16 cm3/g or less, a ply peel strength is 0.05 N/75 mm or more and 2.0 N/75 mm or less, an amount of water absorption per 1 m2 of the 2-ply sheet is 155 g or more and 520 g or less, and the amount of water absorption per 1 g is 4.3 g or more and 9.5 g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
