To provide a kitchen waste treatment device which is capable of improving its safety by securing quality of each of parts of the device, shortening the kitchen waste treatment time and securing kitchen waste treatment performance corresponding to properties of every kind of kitchen waste and also shows high usefulness.
This kitchen waste treatment device is provided with an operation means 5 for operating the operation modes, a receiving vessel 1 for receiving kitchen waste within a first heating means 2 placed in the upper part of the receiving vessel 1, a second heating means 8 placed in the lower part of the receiving vessel 1, an agitation means 11 for agitating the kitchen waste within the receiving vessel 1, and a first temperature detection means 27 and a second temperature detection means 50 which are used for detecting the temperatures in the vicinities of the first heating means 2 and the second heating means 8, respectively. In the device, when the operation means 5 is operated and the output of each of the first and second temperature detection means 27 and 50 is below a prescribed temperature, operation of the agitation means 11 is not performed to prevent the breakage, or the like, of the agitation means 11 from being caused. Thus, the objective kitchen waste treatment device is capable of securing the treatment product quality and shows high usefulness.
