Abstract:
To provide a klystron that can prevent defects in a connection portion of a drift tube in cavity resonators arranged next to each other.SOLUTION: In a klystron with a plurality of cavity resonators placed next to each other on the same axis, the cavity resonator includes a drift tube provided at the end in the axial direction, and a coupling brim that projects radially outward at the end of the adjacent drift tube to connect the adjacent cavity resonators, and one of the drift tubes adjacent to each other has an inner peripheral side wall, and the other drift tube has an outer peripheral side wall that faces the inner peripheral side wall in the radial direction, and a spring is provided between the inner peripheral side wall and the outer peripheral side wall to urge the inner peripheral side wall and the outer peripheral side wall in a direction away from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
