Abstract:

To provide a kneading screw which can allow the increase of the internal pressure to be restrained from being generated locally when a resin is plasticized.

The kneading screw is provided with a full-flight screw 2 and a kneading part 9 having screw pieces 20 consisting of a plurality of disks 30 and is used for kneading/plasticizing a resinous raw material. The disk 30a1, among the disks 30, which constitutes the screw piece 20a adjacent to the screw 2 at the downstream end thereof and is positioned on the uppermost-stream side of the screw piece 20a, is a twist kneading disk.
