PURPOSE: To obtain knit yarn having a feeling of volume and stable shape, producible by weaving of bag texture or by ribbon manufacturing machine, having yarn intersections of ≤ a fixed value and width in a fixed range, comprising core yarn at the center.

CONSTITUTION: The objective knit yarn comprising woven fabric of bag or round cord having ≤10 yarn intersections based on 1cm length and 0.5-10mm width, composed of core yarn at the center. Woven fabric of bag texture having 0.5-10 weft beating density or round cord having ≤10 braid stitches/cm producible by a common ribbon manufacturing machine is preferable and yarn (partially) containing fused yarn is preferable as the core yarn.
