Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a knit garment so designed that knit structure comprising inelastic yarns are seen on the surface of the fabric, by interknitting bare elastic yarns in the respective courses. CONSTITUTION: This knit garment comprises a fabric specified by ground knit structure having plural continuous courses knitted by use of ground yarns of the ground knit structure and, desirably, bare elastic yarns alternately knitted in the respective courses or alternate courses in order to cross the head parts of sinker loops between given wales; wherein both the ground yarns and elastic yarns have so constituted as to define the front and reverse faces of the fabric, the elastic yarns are arranged between the front face and reverse face at each given space apart from the front face and reverse face, and when the front or reverse face is to come into contact with the opposite side, the face is blocked from the surface contact with the opposite side.
