Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting and braiding diagram preparation apparatus capable of preparing an organization chart for operating a torchon lace knitting machine simply in a short time, showing the pattern of a torchon lace from the organization chart and preparing data for driving the torchon lace knitting machine.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with a first memory means for memorizing the stopping place at each movement step of plural spindles, a second memory means for memorizing the amounts of tensions applied to knitting and braiding yarns drawn out from bobbins attached to the spindles and a means which uses data read out from these memory means, weights each knitting and braiding yarn from the tension amount applied to each knitting and braiding yarn, calculates the amount of the relative movement of knitting and braiding yarns when the knitting and braiding yarns are crossed, draws the locus of the movement of the knitting and braiding yarn as the result of the calculation, prepares the pattern data of knitted and braided torchon lace and shows the knitted and braided pattern by using the pattern data.
