PURPOSE: To test a knowledge base by an end user by preparing the knowledge base by translating a knowledge source on the side of a knowledge engineering computer or a knowledge input terminal equipment while using the knowledge input terminal equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A knowledge input terminal equipment 4, which can utilize an expert tool to be operated on a knowledge engineering computer 1 and is provided with a common knowledge source, is connected. A knowledge source 12 on the side of the knowledge engineering computer 1 or a knowledge source 22 on the side of the knowledge input terminal equipment 4 is translated by this knowledge input terminal equipment 4 while using an AI tool 13 or 21, and the knowledge base is prepared. Thus, the end user can remotely develop the knowledge base.
