Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a packed product of konjak (devil's tongue) sponge with upgraded merchandising property which is free from the generation of mildew, usable or excellent as foam for washing face, and gives a soft feel when touched from outside.
CONSTITUTION: A konjak sponge 1a containing water at a rate of 30% or more per dry weight is put into a gas barrier packing material 2a to sterilize and sealed up by a germ-free operation. After the sealing is made as required, sterilization may further be performed by a heating or irradiation sterilization method. Otherwise, the konjak sponge 1a containing water may be put into the packing material by the heating or irradiation sterilization to seal up.
