Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy two or more specification requirements of users by one semiconductor integrated circuit without considerably increasing a layout area, and to change settings after a product specification is set.
SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit has a non-volatile memory 1 such as an EEPROM, a flash ROM or the like which can be written and erased electrically. A product specification setting area 12 for storing product specification setting information is provided as well as a program area 11 in the non-volatile memory 1 of the semiconductor integrated circuit, wherein a program is stored in the non-volatile memory 1. The product specification setting information is output as a product specification selecting signal 4, thereby the product specification is controlled.
