PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label formation device which inhibits the occurrence of waste.SOLUTION: A label formation device includes: a transport passage formed into an annular shape; an endless label formation belt provided at the transport passage; a label formation belt driving part which transports the label formation belt along the transport passage; a label formation part which forms a label on a surface of the label formation belt; a separation part which is disposed at the downstream relative to the label formation part along a transportation direction of the label formation belt and separates the label from the label formation belt; and a discharge part which discharges the label separated from the label formation belt.
