Abstract:

To provide a label issuing apparatus which can meet highly precise printing processing by surely preventing generation of slacking of a mount during conveyance.

A metering printer 1 is the label issuing apparatus which carries out printing processing at a printing unit 33 while conveying a plurality of labels L stuck on a long label sheet LS. A winding shaft 32a which winds the label sheet LS with the label L released therefrom has no rotational driving force transmitted in a reverse rotational direction by a driving transmission mechanism 52. The winding shaft 32a generates skid at a clutch mechanism 51 when a predetermined or larger torque is applied. At the same time, the reverse rotation of the winding shaft 32a is regulated by a brake mechanism 54 when it rotates reversely.
