Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label edition device for producing printing information capable of controlling so that printing content of a label is not difficult to read, and capable of suppressing useless consumption of label paper, when the variable length label is printed with information.SOLUTION: In the case where size in a longitudinal direction of printing content (image) IM1 and IM2 inputted is smaller than size in a longitudinal direction of a set variable length printing area AR3, length of the variable length printing area is changed small (or reset) in conformity to the printing content. In the case where size in a longitudinal direction of inputted printing content IM3 is larger than size in the longitudinal direction of the set variable length printing area AR3, that fact is notified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
