PURPOSE: To solve a problem in which an unreasonable tension is added to the support paper, and prevent the support paper from being cut by a method wherein an air nozzle which blows pressurized air to at least one of a support paper with labels and empty support paper is provided to be adjacent to the support papers, and a loop is formed on the support paper.

CONSTITUTION: A support paper with labels 5 is let out from a feeding reel 6, passes through a brake roll 7, printing machine 13, release blade 8, and feeding roll 9, etc., and is taken up by a take-up roll 10. When a bottle fed on a turntable 1 reaches a specified position, the support paper with labels 5 is fed by a portion of one label by the intermittent turning of the feeding roll 9, and a label is released by the release blade 8 and pasted on the peripheral surface of the bottle by a pasting roll 3. In this case, pressurized air is respectively jetted from air nozzles 19, 21, and loops L1, L2 are formed on the support paper with labels 5 and an empty support paper 5' respectively in the vicinity of the feeding reel 6 and take-up roll 10. By doing this, a problem in which an unreasonable tension is added to respective support papers 5, 5' is solved.
