Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the measuring accuracy of the titled device, by forming of cupper, etc., a part of an internal cell for partitioning the inside of a pressure vessel into the periphery and the outside of a test piece, and keeping the temperature of an outside cell solution in an optimum value.
CONSTITUTION: An internal cell 26 provided concentrically to a test piece 5 within a pressure vessel partitions the cell solution within the vessel into an outside part 19 of the cell 26 and the inside part, namely the outside part 19' of the piece 5, and is formed of a transparent part 26a and a material part 26b of cupper, etc., of which the heat conductivity is large. Solutions 19 and 19' are made to have the same temperature. The solutions 19, 19' are received to the solution surface at which the piece 5 is submerged, and the volume change by fusion of the piece 5 causes the vertical displacement of the surface of the solution 19'. This causes the vertical displacement of a float 27, and a gap sensor 28 continuously measures it as the change of the induced voltage. The air pressure in a pressurized space 20 is controlled by a controller 31 on the basis of the measured value, the surface of the solution 19' is kept at a constant position, and the strain in the side direction of the piece 5 is bound. Furthermore, the temperature 8 of the solution 19' is kept constant by keeping the temperature of the solution 19 constant, and the measurement error due to the change of the solution temperature is prevented.
