To simply obtain a lace like material composed of a ceramic yarn having a low elongation and an extremely low flexural strength, and a porcelain product and a glass product by using the lace as a decorative piece.

A composite yarn made by covering a ceramic yarn as a core yarn with a thermally decomposable yarn as a reinforcing yarn is used and embroidered or knitted to give a lace-like material. The lace-like material is placed on a clay plate, formed into a fixed shape, sintered by heating or embedded in a molten glass and cooled.
