PURPOSE: To provide a laminated composite material compact manufactured from alloy powder, metal powder and ceramic powder and its manufacture.

CONSTITUTION: The laminated composite material compact is manufactured by compounding at least two powders selected from alloy powders, metal powders and ceramic powders and forming the compact of the compound. In this manufacture, a mixture of either a metal powder or ceramic powder, etc., and a binder is compacted and thereafter the resulting compact is inserted into a mold and then the mold is filled with another mixture of powders selected from other alloy powders, metal powders and ceramic powders to form the laminated composite material compact. By using this manufacture, the laminated composite material compacts provided with plural functions such as both wear resistance and corrosion resistance can be manufactured and further small parts, complicatedly shaped parts, etc., of which manufature is difficult with the conventional methods, can be manufactured in near-net shapes.
