To allow easy positioning of an inner pipe relative to a pipe insert hole and to allow even distribution of refrigerant at each flat part, by letting circular the pipe insert hole at a recessed part for forming an inlet header part while the inner pipe flat, and inserting the inner pipe into the inlet header pipe.
A laminated evaporator 1, having a structure wherein intermediate plates 2 and 3 are stacked, comprises parallel flat pipe parts 5 formed by stacking a pair of standard intermediate plates 3 among them while orientation of recessed parts 21, 22, and 23 alternately changed, left and right, an inlet header part 6, and an outlet header part 7. Between adjoining flat pipe parts 5, a corrugated fin 4 is inserted. Here, a pipe insert hole 24 of the recessed part 22 for forming the inlet header part is formed into a circle. A flat inner pipe 11 for distributing refrigerant is inserted into the inlet header part 6 from left end side so as to be tightly engaged with the inlet header part 6, thus the inner pipe 11 is positioned relative to the pipe insert hole 24.
