To provide a relatively inexpensive laminated material for a paper container using a vapor deposited film excellent in gas barrier properties obtained by vapor-depositing a thin film of silicon oxide or the like on a PET film.
The laminated material (10) for the paper container has cardboard as a substrate (12) and thermoplastic synthetic resin layers (11 and 15) as innermost and outermost layers and is constituted by providing the vapor deposition film (14), which is formed by vapor-depositing the thin film (14b) of silicon oxide or the like on the PET film (14a), between the substrate and the thermoplastic synthetic resin layer (15) being the innermost layer. The substrate and the surface of the PET film are bonded in such a state that the EMAA resin layer of a coextrusion resin layer (13) having the EMAA resin layer (13a) as the outermost layer is opposed to the surface of the PET film.
