Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the structure having an arbitrary shape and high strength without environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION:One layer of a structure preform formed of two-layers of porous conductive base materials is subjected to a water repelling treatment. While the layer on the side subjected to the water repelling treatment is exposed to the atm., the coating layer of an inorg. compd. consisting essentially of a carbonate is formed on the surface of the laminated structure preform as a cathode, by which the above-mentioned structure is obtd. The generation of the collapse of the structure in water and the environmental pollution by alkali elution is obviated in this way.
