To provide a lamination processing apparatus capable of continuing lamination processing without an abnormal stop when the multi-feeding of laminated sheets (two-layered sheets) occurs.SOLUTION: A lamination processing apparatus of the present invention includes: a feeding section for feeding a two-layered sheet; multi-feeding detection means arranged downstream in a transfer direction of the feeding section to detect the multi-feeding of the two-layered sheet; a fixing section arranged downstream in a transfer direction of the multi-feeding detection means to heat and pressurize the two-layered sheet; a discharge section arranged downstream in a transfer direction of the fixing section to discharge the two-layered sheet passing through the fixing section; a purge section arranged separately from the discharge section and including a retreat transport path branched from the transfer direction upstream of the fixing section; and a path switching member for switching the transport path of the two-layered sheet to the fixing section or the purge section, wherein when the multi-feeding of the two-layered sheet is detected, the two-layered sheet is transported to the purge section, and feeding processing of another two-layered sheet is newly retried.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
