Abstract:

To prevent damage to a base from easily occurring by heat generation due to bulb lighting.

This lamp device is provided with: an arc tube having one discharge path formed by jointing a plurality of bulbs 1a-1f; a bulb support body 31 of a base having a hollow body part having an insertion hole for inserting ends of the bulbs 1a-1f therein, and supporting the arc tube. An adhesive 61 is arranged on the bulbs projecting from the hole on the back side of the bulb support body 31 of the base by excluding wall-side regions on the bulb support body 31 of the base to which the glass bulbs 1a-1f provided with electrodes are adjacent.
