Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp device which can couple a plurality of rod-shaped lamps in the parallel laid arrangement with a satisfactory strength using a simple process and can achieve certainly the inter-lamp electric insulation property at one end of each lamp.
SOLUTION: A lamp device is equipped with glass bulb 11 provided with a pinch seal part 12 at each end, a plurality of rod-shaped lamps 10 which have external lead rods 15 protruding outward from the pinch seal part 12 and a terminal member 16 fixed to the outer extremity of the lead rods 15 and are arranged parallel with one another, and a coupling member 20 made of insulative material to couple the lamps 10 with one another. The coupling member 20 has a through hole 21 to admits insertion of the lead rods 15 and is held pinchedly between the bulb 11 and terminal member 16, and the lamps 10 are coupled together by coupling in common on the coupling member 20.
