To provide a lamp with a built-in lighting device, enabling to accurately cut off the lighting device when a heating circuit component of the device abnormally heats while promoting the downsizing of the lighting device.
The lamp 1 includes an envelope 3 having a base 5 at one end and a light emitting part 8 at the other end, the lighting device 11 stored in the envelope 3 for lighting the light emitting part 8, and a thermal fuse 15. The lighting device 11 has a circuit board 12, a plurality of first circuit components 13 mounted on the surface of the board, an a plurality of chip-type second circuit components 14 mounted on the reverse of the circuit board 12. The second circuit components 14 include the heating circuit component 14a. The thermal fuse 15 has a fuse portion 15a, a first lead wire portion 15b extending from one end of the fuse portion and connected to the base 5, and a second lead wire portion 15c extending form the other end of the fuse portion 15a and connected to the circuit board 12. The fuse portion 15a is arranged in the state of being thermally joined to the circuit component 14a for receiving heat released from the heating circuit component 14a.
