To prevent the generation of glare due to the direct light from a light source by providing a shielding body for preventing the arrival of the direct light from a light emitting part into an area surrounded by a peripheral edge, which regulates an opening of a reflector.
A reflector 14 is formed of glass of the like, and provided with a reflecting film 24 in a surface of the inside thereof, which is formed into a paraboloidal surface or a recessed surface. An upper opening 14b of the reflector 14 is closed by a transparent protecting glass plate 25. A filament 20 is arranged at the nearly focal point of the recessed surface formed by the inside surface of the reflector 14. A lamp 12 is provided with a shielding body 30 for covering a tip of a cylindrical main body 12b, and a rear end of the shielding body 30 is positioned so that the direct light from a rear end of the filament 20 does not arrive to a front side of a circumferential edge 14c of the reflector 14. With this structure, emission of the direct light form the filament 20 outside of the reflector 14 through the protection glass plate 25 is prevented, and generation of glare is prevented.
