The door tips 12Rf and 12Lf sides of a rail 6 hanging the top sections of door panels 12 and a groove 10 guiding the lower end sections are arranged on this side of a landing 2, the door ends 12Rr and 12Lr sides are arranged on the depth side of a hoistway 1, and the door panels 12 are inclined against a wall 3 face respectively so that the door tips 12Rf and 12Lf sides of the door panels 12 of the sliding door are located on this side of the landing 2 than the door ends 12Rr and 12Lr sides and the door panels 12 are opened or closed slantly inclinatorily against the wall 3 face of the landing 2.
