To suppress an impact applied to a part of a landing mechanism when an attitude of a vertical taking off/landing machine is inclined to the ground in the landing of the vertical taking off/landing machine in which a plurality of landing mechanisms extending below a machine body are provided.
The plurality of landing mechanisms 4 provided on the vertical taking off/landing machine are provided with a first impact absorption means 8 and a second impact absorption means 7 for absorbing the impact by being elastically deformed. In the landing of the vertical taking off/landing machine, after the absorption of the impact by the first impact absorption means 8 is completed, the impact is absorbed by the second impact absorption means 7. Further, they are further provided with a suppression means 10 for suppressing deformation in an opposite direction to a direction for absorbing the impact of the first impact absorption means 7 at this time.
