PURPOSE: To improve the working efficiency of a cut-off sheet wall and to improve construction precision through simple and accurate insertion of a cut-off sheet into a sheet insertion groove by a method wherein a ground is excavated by means of a wire saw device and a sheet installation device and the cut-off sheet is drawn in a sheet insertion groove as the sheet insertion groove is formed.
CONSTITUTION: A cut-off sheet 5 is drawn in a sheet insertion groove 4 in a way that engaging parts 7 located to the two end parts in the direction of width of the cut-off sheet 5 are positioned in respective preceding holes 3 as the preceding hole 3 and a spot between the adjoining preceding holes 3 are excavated in a ground T by means of a wire saw device 9. The preceding holes 3 and the sheet insertion grooves 4 are filled with bentonite mortar 8 to produce a watertight state, and a watertight cut-off sheet wall 1 is built.
