Abstract:
To provide a lanyard for a fall-arrest device with two winders connected thereto, having a lightweight and small size preventing a worker from feeling physical burden, directing the winders in a right direction when arresting a fall and highly efficiently manufactured.SOLUTION: A lanyard for a fall-arrest device including two winders 1a and 1b juxtaposed to each other, and locking hooks 3a and 3b toward a structure side, provided at tips of straps 2a and 2b extending from the winders 1a and 1b, where the two winders 1a and 1b are connected to each other with a connector 4, the lanyard is connected from the connector 4 via a shock absorber 5 to a human body side. The connector 4 used for connecting the two winders 1a and 1b is so formed that facing link plates 11 are connected by two parallel connecting shafts 12a and 12b and the respective winders 1a and 1b are rotatably connected around the two parallel connecting shafts 12a and 12b. An end part of a belt 15 of the shock absorber 5 is wound around the two connecting shafts 12a and 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
