Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large media storage device and a method for properly aligning papers and preventing the occurrence of paper jamming and erroneous operation.
SOLUTION: This large media storage device 10 is formed in such a way that a previously selected region is separated in a large media mechanism using large media and is provided with a deformable and integral media holder 14 having a bottom face 16 and an upper face 18, a movable support base 28 in the media holder, and a lifting means 26 in the large media mechanism for applying lifting force to the movable support base.
