To provide a large-sized plate having a higher printing precision than usual.
In a plate 10, a printing region A is provided at a position shifted to the front side of a squeegeeing direction (sliding direction) S of a squeegee, that is, the terminal side thereof. Therefore a part of the beginning end side portion in the squeegeeing direction S, out of the part being used as the printing region in a usual plate wherein the printing region is formed at the center, is not used for printing. Therefore an opening part 26 is not provided in the beginning end side portion wherein the total pitch W of a thick film to be formed by printing is possible to lessen particularly and, accordingly, the range R of variation of the total pitch W of the film in the squeegeeing direction S lessens, whereby a printing precision is enhanced. By the shift of the position of the beginning end of the printing region A to the terminal side, besides, a rolling distance (r) of thick-film paste can be ensured without using an area wherein the elastic deformation of a screen 16 is hard to occur and without making the plate large in size, and therefore the uniformity of the film thickness of the thick film to be formed is also enhanced.
