Abstract:
To provide a large sized transportation vessel capable of solving the problems of slamming and propeller racing accompanying draft variation varied according to the loading situation of cargos, without using ballast water.
The large sized transportation vessel is adopted, in which a shape of a ship's bottom from a bow to at least a central position in a longitudinal direction of a hull is tapered toward a center in a width direction of the ship's bottom when viewed in a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a flat bottom part 8 is formed along a keel of the ship's bottom.
