To provide a laser beam build-up welding device and a laser beam build-up welding method, which can control the shape of a built-up part matched with the shape of the part to be welded, and can produce the built-up part of high quality.
The laser beam build-up welding device includes: an optical fiber of transmitting a laser; a laser machining head of forming the laser emitted from the optical fiber; and a powder feed nozzle of blowing an inert gas and powder on a laser irradiation part, wherein the laser beam build-up welding device scans the surface of the object to be welded and performs build-up welding. The device includes: an optical sensor of detecting an optical signal generated from a molten pool; a displacement sensor provided at the outer circumference of the laser machining head; and a mechanism performing feedback control with welding conditions as parameters so as to be close to the control target value of the optical signal beforehand set based on the optical signal and information measured by the displacement sensor.
